Renderings show plans for a modern, multistory building with marble tables, an indoor waterfall and whole fish cooking on the irori. Called the Sky Lounge, it will serve sushi and small plates. Upstairs will be a sushi bar helmed by chef Masaki Sasaki, known for earning a Michelin star at Maruya and the now-closed Sasaki. A downstairs dining room will specialize in Japanese irori cuisine, named for the sunken fireplace used in Japan farmhouses as both a heat and cooking source. The park also features a graywater garden which filters the facility's graywater prior to its reuse.Ī series of botanical gardens encircle the park’s edge, featuring native and adapted plantings suitable for Bay Area gardens. Rainwater infiltrates through the park's soil and is collected and reused in the facility.

The park features a central plaza, a variety of planted botanical gardens, an amphitheater for performances and a children's playground. The park is a regional destination for visitors to San Francisco and an amenity for the nearby local residents. Located 75 feet above San Francisco's streets is the 5-acre Salesforce Rooftop Park.
